  Takeoff @ PDK: 2R. Landing @ AGS: 17. Takeoff @ AGS: 17. Landing @ MCN: 31. Takeoff @ MCN: 31. Landing @ PDK: 2L. Felt great about everything today regarding navigation and flight controls. Level flight was great. Flight following and flight plan filing were smooth. LANDING at PDK was HORRIBLE. Lucky I didn't flip the plane. Problem started with helicopter given takeoff clearance underneath me that distracted my attention trying to find traffic. Then was given a confusing "square the final" instruction while on downwind. ATIS had wind at 11G17 from 290. When overflying the airport ATC said wind was less (I think 8 from 300). On final I was getting blown around a lot and thinking it was back to 11G17 asked for wind check. Told it was calm (but didn't believe it). Approach was stabilized, but a slighlty shallow. Slight throttle was applied to extend glide path. Right under the tree level got blown way left. Tried to salvage landing (should have gone around) but forgot to retard throttle completley on touchdown. Landed way off center and fairly far down 2L.
