![]() Clark & Allen talking on air ![]() Goofing around while helping kids ![]() Allen and Clark interviewing Ex-Brave Otis Nixon ![]() 30.597 miles ![]() Me after 30 miles - Allen after 0 Stats 31.123 miles Time: 2:24:40 Temp in car upon return: 91 I need a shower and a nap. Still have the show tonight so working until 1:30 am. What a crazy day! ![]() Me after 15 miles. Now I have to head back. ![]() Allen, Wayne and Karen Handel - Georgia Secretary of State - having a good time before the race. (Be sure to check back later for more photos) ![]() My view right now ![]() 15.618 miles out. Now I got to go back. ![]() Asher and CJ entering Turner Field for Asher's first game ![]() He did not like the homerun. I think we might have a Blue Jays fan on our hands. I am cool with that as long as he is still a cubs fan ![]() After everything calmed down, this was Asher's (and our) view. We left at the 7th (before the 10-run Blue Jay inning) because Asher wasn't having much of it. Ohh well, that is why it is great having season tickets: you don't feel like you have to stay for the whole thing. ![]() I love this pic. Asher got a bit fussy, so we went for a walk to the SkyBox park. ![]() Congrats to Unadilla police department. You are the privileged ticket number 10. ![]() Scratch that - ticket 10 AND 11. He wrote me up fir following too closely too and he had me get out of the car twice on the freeway. ![]() Here I am trying to explain it was the Lexus in front of me doing 85 because I wasn't going that and that the fact the Lexus slammed on his brakes going from 85 to 55 is the reason I was following to closely. He wasn't having much of it. Plus I thought it was illegal to allow a person to get out of the car on a freeway. ![]() Asher woke up at 4am again, but fell asleep with me in bed until 7:30. Jadyn joined us at that time. Early morning for me, but it's worth it. ![]() I think I'll go to bed and let these to have some alone time. ![]() Jadyn riding her bike to the beach one last time down the brick-laid carless street in time for sunset. ![]() It's hard to see but there were dolphins about 10 feet from us while we waited for the boat at the dock ![]() There are two things I would name after my dad if I had the power: a drink and a beach sitting pisition. When I become mayor of Fort Wayne, my first executive order will be to change a "Cap 'n Coke" to a Dan Borgmann in all the restaurants and bars in honor of all the civic duty he has done for the city. To all my Fort Wayne readers, you can help now by starting that before I return to Fort Wayne. Columbia Street, Oyester Bar, Hartleys, Fort Wayne Country Club, Paula's, Club Soda: wherever you are order a Dan Borgmann and when the bartender asks what that is look at him with disdain. Why should that jerk Arnold Palmer be the only one with a drink named after him? Now...on to the beach position. When Dad goes to the Carribean, he lives to just sit under a palm tree in the shade and relax. He'd always insist you get just as tan, less likely to get burned, and it was cooler. Now that I go by myself, I find I like the same thing. Thus when I become President of the World sitting under a palm tree on a beach will also be called a Dan Borgmann. And if you are on a good beach, you can order a Dan Borgmann too :) This photo is for you Dad. ![]() [pirate voice] A storm's a coming [/pirate voice] ![]() After lunch on the beach, Asher came and sat on me What's Andy Up To?
Description
Andy's blog aims to be like a Scrubs episode, mixed with a Chuck Klosterman column, centered around the topic of faith. It is open, honest, raw, and a little embarrassing. It is a place to discuss religion, politics, ministry, pop culture, and well, just life - especially focused on the time of life we call our 20s!
Andy is the Executive Producer of The Allen Hunt Show; a progressive (in the literal sense), talk radio show based in Atlanta, GA aimed at bringing faith back into the public discussion. Andy enjoys travel, aviation, web design, politics, friends, and faith. He holds that the secret to a full life is loving God and loving people - which he fails at constantly. Andy grew up in Fort Wayne, IN. He now lives in Alpharetta, GA. More information about Andy can be found at www.2timothy42.org or Andy's Facebook. P.S. As has been mentioned on air, Andy is horrible at grammar and spelling. Please excuse any mistakes, trust me, he's sorry. RSS
